Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No.95 of 2015, registered under Sections 376, 511, 498A, 494, 313 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the petitioner's father promised to marry his son with the informant and physical relationship was also established and later on pregnancy got terminated and subsequently the petitioner's marriage was solemnized with another girl.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is false, the informant is a working lady and she had taken Rs.2,00,000/- for providing job to the petitioner but failed
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4258 of 2018(2) dt.25-01-2018 2/2 so petitioner asked to return the money then this false case was instituted and it is admitted position that marriage of the petitioner was never solemnized with the informant. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Ashok Thakur is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-V, Madhubani in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No.95 of 2015.
