The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Singhiya P.S. Case No. 108 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under sections 302 read with 34 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any cogent material could be collected against him in course of investigation.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has submitted that it is true that the petitioner is not named in the FIR but in course of investigation one of the prime accused has disclosed his name as one of the persons involved in commission

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1697 of 2015 (3) dt.19-08-2015 2/2 of murder of the son of the informant.

Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Pradeep/- U T
