JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-10-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of writ or writs in the nature of mandamus commanding/ directing the official respondents to wake up from their deep slumber and grant Arms license to the petitioner for NP Bore Rifle, as he fulfills all the criteria for grant of Arms license which he needed for protection of his life family and property but the Respondent Authorities in-spite of filing application in prescribed format, kept the matter pending which is against Rule 13 & 14 of Arms Rules, 2016."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the RespondentState has submitted that after passing of the order dated 4.1.2016, by a coordinate Bench of this Court in CWJC No. 18782 of 2015, the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, has rejected the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license, vide order dated 29.10.2016.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 29.10.2016 by filing appropriate Appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
