JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-03-2021 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Parmeshwar Mehta, the learned APP for the State. The present petition has been filed for extending the time granted to the petitioner for surrendering before the learned court of A.C.J.M.-IX, Gopalganj in connection with Uchkagaon PS case no. 187 of 2018, vide order dated 16.09.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 3776 of 2020.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner could not be communicated about the aforesaid order dated 16.09.2020, hence he could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated time period. It is therefore, prayed to extend the time granted for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17220 of 2021(2) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 purposes of surrendering and being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the averments made in the present petition and taking into account the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 16.09.2020 for the purposes of surrendering before the learned court of A.C.J.M.-IX, Gopalganj in connection with Uchkagaon PS case no. 187 of 2018, by a further period of four weeks from today.

The present petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 16.09.2020. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U T
