JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-06-2016 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Hajipur Town Police Station Case No. 1126 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 3 of the application, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail. This application for anticipatory bail, is hereby, rejected.
The petitioner, Raunit Rai @ Bullu @ Ronit Kumar, is directed to surrender before the Court below
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9994 of 2016 (4) dt.22-06-2016 2/2 within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned Court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
