JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-04-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the appellant was rejected by this Court vide order dated 5.7.2017 passed in Cr.Appeal (SJ) No. 1914 of 2017 with a direction to learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude it within a period of six months and appellant was given liberty to renew his prayer for bail if trial is not concluded within the said period.
Submission of learned counsel for the appellant is that trial has not been concluded and report shows that prosecution evidence has been closed and statement of defence witnesses has been recorded and defence will take six months time as defence has to examined eight witnesses.
Heard learned Special P.P. and learned counsel for the informant.
