2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Chhabilipur P.S. Case No. 114 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 170, 171 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the petitioner was arrested in police uniform. He was impersonating himself as a police constable. It is alleged in the FIR that some ATM Cards, pendrive, mobile sets have been recovered from possession of the petitioner and it has also been alleged that he was engaged in cheating the innocent persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22672 of 2024(3) dt.04-07-2024 2/2 that the petitioner is under custody since 19.08.2023. He is a person of clean antecedent. The seized articles are belonging to the petitioners and there is no evidence that he was involved in cheating people.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the period of detention, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Chhabilipur P.S. Case No. 114 of 2023, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.

(ii) Before the release of the petitioner, the learned court below shall verify his criminal antecedent and if it is found that he is involved in any other case, the learned court below shall not accept the bail bond.
