The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 664 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act.

The informant, police officer on complain raided the red light area situated in Sitamarhi and different objectionable articles were recovered. The petitioner managed to flee away from the red light area at the time of raid. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he was not apprehended on the spot. Having considered the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is one of the sex workers who is involved in flesh trade, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
