The counsel for the opposite party no.2 however is present.

The petitioner, who is the husband of opposite party no.2, seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 957C of 2018 in which cognizance has been taken under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 has informed this Court that pursuant to a declaration before this Court on the last occasion on 09.07.2020 that there has been a settlement between the spouses, provisional

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12278 of 2020(4) dt.07-12-2021 2/2 bail was granted to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 states that there is truth in the aforesaid assertion. Considering the aforesaid disclosure by opposite party no.2 regarding settlement of matrimonial dispute between the spouses, this Court deems it appropriate to direct that in the event of the petitioner surrendering within a period of six weeks before the Court below along with his wife/opposite party no. 2, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Complaint Case No. 957C of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Till such time the interim order in favour of the petitioner shall continue.
