Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have killed the daughter of the informant by pressing her neck for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.09.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12048 of 2020(3) dt.04-06-2020 2/2 and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within one year.
