JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 16-01-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Kotwali PS Case No. 616 of 2017 registered under Sections 354 and 354D of the IPC. The allegation is that the petitioner along with others was asking for mobile number of the informant and his sister and pulled her dupatta.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that because of some push in the crowd the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case. The story is absurd that anybody would attempt outraging the modesty of a girl in a temple. The petitioner is in custody since 11.1.2017 and one of the co-accused has been admitted to bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Bhanu Kumar Singh @ Shashank Bhanu @ Bhanu Kumar @ Bhanu Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM Patna in connection with Kotwali PS Case No. 616 of 2017.
