The Petitioner seeks bail in Patepur P.S. Case No. 144 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR but during investigation one Pintoo Kumar, who was arrested by the police has stated about assistance of petitioner in commission of the offence. The petitioner is in custody since, 19.03.2017. One of the co-accused has been granted bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 22.02.2017 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 2840 of 2017.
