Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioners are driver and cleaner of the Bolero vehicle from which liquor was allegedly recovered. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 13.01.2019. Investigation of the case is complete. Petitioners are ready to cooperate with the trial. There is no material to allege tempering with the evidence.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14584 of 2019(2) dt.11-04-2019 2/2 bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Aurangabad (Mufassil) Police Station Case No. 04 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
