It appears from the decree of divorce granted between the contesting parties, namely, the petitioner Tarun Kumar Singh and his wife Soni Kumari that a sum of Rs. 5,75,000/- has already been paid to her as full and final settlement for grant of divorce between the parties which has been accepted by her as permanent alimony. It further appears from the said judgment passed in Divorce Case No. 257 of 2014 that she has accepted the same. Thus, there arises no occasion for any further deduction from the salary of the petitioner as after 29.03.2017, the parties have separated and the opposite party (Soni Kumari) has already been given a permanent alimony of Rs. 5,75,000/-.

Thus, it is directed that there shall be no further deduction from the salary of the petitioner (Tarun Kumar Singh) as has been

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28892 of 2017 (2) dt.19-07-2017 P2/2 directed earlier vide order dated 26.11.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12564 of 2015.

With the aforementioned directions, the modification application stands disposed of.
