The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No.185 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 272. 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 30(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Petitioner is said to be involved in the business of illicit liquor. He has been named in the confessional statement of co-accused.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is not involved in the business liquor. He says that the petitioner may be given a chance and undertakes that the petitioner will not indulge in this

Considering the submissions of the petitioner, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Exclusive Special Excise Court No.-II in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No.185 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. It is directed that the petitioner will appear in Raghopur Police Station on the first Sunday of every month till trial of this case is not disposed of.
