This is a petition for grant of regular bail in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No. 225 of 2014 for offences under Sections 364, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
Allegation, in brief, is that accused persons kidnapped the informant's brother, as a result of land dispute, and subsequently killed him. It is submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated due to land dispute and other co-accused persons have been admitted to bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.
Learned counsel for the State that it is a case of the year 2015 and the petitioner was remanded from another case on 10.03.2017 and he has large number of criminal antecedent of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8952 of 2018(3) dt.27-03-2018 2/2 serious nature of cases, precisely 12 cases are pending against him.
Having considered the nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
