Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 6.4.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.15269 of 2017 with an observation that the learned trial court shall expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for more than one year and there is no substantive progress in the trial.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, the learned trial court is directed to see that the case is committed to the court of Sessions and if not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4658 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 committed within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the order and charge has been framed, he shall expedite the trial so that it may be concluded within the period as specified. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
