The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 173 of 2017, G.R. No. 3625 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 364, 511, 341, 323, 342 of the Indian Penal and Section 25 (1-b)a, 26, 35 and 27 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of two live cartridges from his possession.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that F.I.R. has been registered after delay of one day. Petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He is in custody since 12.08.2017.

Case No. 173 of 2017, G.R. No. 3625 of 2017.
