Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.718 of 2017, giving rise to Sessions Trial No.748 of 2017, registered under Sections 356 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that petitioner snatched the purse of the informant's mother-in-law and handed it over to other coaccused but apprehended by the local people. There was Rs.2000/- in the purse.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that merely on suspicion, the petitioner was apprehended, nothing was recovered from his possession and he has no criminal antecedent.

Salim is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Patna in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.718 of 2017.
