The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 305C of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the complaint, the complainant solemnized marriage with this petitioner on 09.09.2017. After marriage, this petitioner and his family members started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, the complainant was subjected to torture and cruelty. Ultimately, the accused persons ousted the complainant from her matrimonial home.

In view of the undertaking of petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Complaint Case No. 305C of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
