JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 28-06-2017 Heard Sri Sanjeev Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Umesh Lal Verma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
This is second attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner in Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 268 of 2016 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 09 of 2016 registered for the offences under Sections 20 & 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts that trial is going on.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27014 of 2017 (2) dt.28-06-2017 2/2 Considering the fact that on merit prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected and the fact that trial is continuing, there is no reason to review my earlier order. Accordingly, prayer for bail again stands rejected with observation that the learned court below may take appropriate steps so that the case may come to its logical end without unnecessary delay.
