The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Sri Krishnapuri P.S. Case No. 288 of 2018 dated 25.10.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 307, 504, 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Though the petitioners have been named in the FIR but no positive overt act has been attributed against them. The informant has alleged that because of property dispute, he has been shot at. The informant has stated that when he came back from his College to his rented house, one Tushar Raman fired from his weapon hitting him in his stomach. While narrating the cause of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12158 of 2019(2) dt.28-02-2019 2/2 occurrence, he has spoken about the enmity with his relatives in which he has named the petitioners as well. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that they are gainfully employed as Lecturers and have clean antecedents.

For the aforestated facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Sri Krishnapuri P.S. Case No. 288 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
