Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the position that compliance has been made. However, he points out that upon enhancement of the pay scale, as sanctioned by the State and as covered by the Accountant General, the arrears of pension have not yet been paid.

Learned counsel for the Accountant General states that once the letter has been issued, it is the Treasury who calculates the arrear and pays the same which would be in normal course. Be that as it may, in view of the aforesaid, this application stands disposed of.
