The petitioner has filed the present application under Sections 439 and 440 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No.36 of 2020 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Considering the period of over four months undergone by the petitioner in custody for the alleged recovery of about 67 litres of foreign liquor from a vehicle in which the petitioner along with its owner was found travelling as also the statement made in para-3 of the application that he has no criminal antecedent, he is directed to be released on bail on
