2. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the writ petition and the interlocutory application upon learned counsel for the Hon'ble Chancellor.
3. By filing the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the Memo No.R/PPU/171/24 dated 16.01.2024 issued by the Registrar of Patliputra University whereby and whereunder a four men inquiry committee has been constituted by the respondent University against the petitioner.
4. Having gone through the case in its entirety and heard
Patna High Court CWJC No.3361 of 2024(4) dt.07-03-2025 2/2 learned counsel for the respective parties, it is deemed fit, proper and in the interest of justice, to relegate the case of the petitioner before the Hon'ble Chancellor.
5. Accordingly, I direct the petitioner to file an appeal before the Hon'ble Chancellor by tomorrow and the Hon'ble Chancellor is requested to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner within a week, after affording opportunity of hearing to him, considering the urgency of the matter.
6. Till the final decision is taken by the Hon'ble Chancellor, the Inquiry Committee will not take any action against the petitioner.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
8. Interlocutory application, if any, shall also disposed of accordingly.
