Since no records are available with regard to the deductions of GPF of the late husband of the present petitioner, this Court cannot issue a mandamus for payment unless the authenticity of such deductions may be established either with the help of the petitioner or through the official records. So far as the claim of interest on delayed payment of gratuity is concerned, petitioner is free to file an application before the competent authority, which shall be examined and a decision in accordance with law will be taken and communicated to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1119 of 2015 (6) dt.25-05-2017 2/2 petitioner within a period of eight weeks form the date of such filing with a copy of this order. If the petitioner is found entitled, authorization will also be done within the same time frame. Writ is disposed of.
