2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing of the Office order no.4625 dated 27.12.2011 issued by the Respondent no.2 contained in Memo No.3360 dated 27.12.2011 (annexed as Annexure-5) by which the minor punishment was imposed upon the petitioner.

3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6834 of 2016(5) dt.08-04-2025 2/2 Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd. raised preliminary objection and submits that the petitioner has not avail the remedy of appeal, rather, moved directly before this Hon'ble Court. Therefore, petitioner may be directed to prefer appeal first and then move before the appropriate forum.

4. Upon perusal of the record, it transpires to this Court that minor punishment has been imposed upon the petitioner on 27.12.2011. The effect of this order is of three years and the said period has ended on 27.12.2014, whereas, the petitioner has moved before this Hon'ble Court in the year 2016. Since, petitioner has moved directly before this Hon'ble Court after accepting the punishment and completion of the said period when the effect of punishment has now ended, this Court is not inclined to interfere in this matter. Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby dismissed.
