The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on 09.07.2021 at about 4 PM, while the informant was at his house, in the meantime, this petitioner alongwith other FIR named accused persons, armed with deadly weapons, came and demanded Rs. 25,000/-, as Rangdari, and on refusal, this petitioner is alleged to have assaulted over head of informant by means of iron rod. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that the alleged occurrence took place due to petty dispute. It is further submitted that there is no allegation of repetition of blow against this petitioner. Though, the doctor has found the stitched wound measuring 1⁄2" x 1⁄2" on the scalp of informant, but nature of

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner.

However, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jamui in connection with Jamui P.S.
