JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 16-03-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and the State. Petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in Chandan PS Case No. 145 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B.34 of the IPC. The allegation in brief is that the informant's son-in-law had illicit affair with his sister-in-law (petitioner No. 2) and the deceased saw her husband in compromising position with the lady, she objected then she was killed by hanging.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no allegation of demand of dowry, petitioners are mother-in-law and wife of brother of the husband of the deceased and it was a case of suicide as the postmortem report reveals that death was caused by hanging and except that no other external injury was found over the dead body.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioners, namely, Poonam Devi and Rita Devi are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) by both of them with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM Banka in connection with Chandan PS Case No. 145 of 2017.
