The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 208 of 2017, registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(i), 37(b), 37(c) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation against the petitioner is with regard to recovery of 210 litters of country made liquor from the hut of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the hut does not belong to him, he has clean antecedent and is in custody since 3.4.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27319 of 2017 (2) dt.15-06-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 208 of 2017.
