The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Samastipur (Town) P.S. Case No. 70 of 2017, registered for the offence under Sections Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation against the petitioner is with regard to recovery of certain quantities of illicit liquor, which were kept in the toddy shop of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said shop from where the alleged illicit liquor was recovered does not belong to the petitioner, the petitioner has clean antecedent, he is said to have surrendered in the court below on 01.05.2017 and since then he is in jail custody.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27349 of 2017 (2) dt.15-06-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions JudgeVI, Samastipur in connection with Samastipur (Town) P.S. Case No. 70 of 2017.
