Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 406, 407, 420, 34, 120-B, 386, 327 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that he had sold the land to the complainant which was not agreed between the parties. Further allegation is of demand of ransom. Petitioner is in custody since 30.01.2018. Considering the nature of allegation as well as responsibility of the informant to verify the title of the vendor before purchase of the same as required by the Transfer of Property Act, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21961 of 2018 (2) dt.19-04-2018 (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Habibpur Police Station Case No.02 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
