In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Amour P.S. Case No.212 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 386, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have demanded extortion money on the point of knife from the informant. In paragraph 3 of the bail petition, it is stated that the petitioner has also got criminal antecedents. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the
