2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 263/2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 29.08.2023.

3. Petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The marriage was solemnized on 07.05.2021.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the deceased has been killed just after marriage because of the demand of dowry, this application for grant of bail is dismissed.
