The petitioner is in custody in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 81 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 326(a), 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

On consideration of the materials available on the record, this Court is not impressed to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.

However, the District and Sessions Judge, Katihar, is directed to take steps for conclusion of the trial of the case by Fast Track Court.
