The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khodawandpur (Chhourahi O.P.) P.S. Case No.153 of 2023 registered for the offence under sections 419, 420, 341, 342, 323, 384, 386 & 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

It is alleged that co-accused Adarsh Kumar had opened an office in Patna. In the name of providing job, he called the husband of the informant and after keeping him in the said office he demanded Rs.6,00,000/- from the informant. The informant deposited an amount of Rs.50,000/- in a bank account given by co-accused Adarsh Kumar.

The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. During Investigation, the name of the petitioner has come. Co-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20833 of 2024(2) dt.02-04-2024 2/2 accused Adarsh Kumar has been granted bail by this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No.19576 of 2024 in view of undertaking given by him that he will return the amount of Rs.50,000/- which is alleged to have taken from the informant. The petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2023. 5.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Manjhaul, District- Begusarai, in connection with Khodawandpur (Chhourahi O.P.) P.S. Case No.153 of 2023.
