The petitioner, an ex-M.L.A. of Munger and ex-M.P. of Begusarai, has approached this Court claming police protection on account of threat perception.

In a counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, it has been pointed out that one armed P.S.O. has been provided to the petitioner who is continuing with him, whereas in another counter affidavit filed by the Superintendent of Police, Munger, it has been pointed out that

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.303 of 2016 (3) dt.23-08-2016 2/2 the District Level Security Committee, Munger has reviewed threat perception on 9th January, 2016 and that no threat perception was found.

Since the District Level Security Committee, Munger has found no threat on the life of the petitioner, therefore, he is not entitled to any other security than provided by Begusarai Police. In view of the above fact, no order is called for in the present writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. (Hemant Gupta, J) mrl.
