JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 05-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case total 167.73 litres of foreign liquor was seized.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the alleged liquor was recovered from the house of Teju Paswan. He further submits that nothing was recovered from the possession or from the house of the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11932 of 2020(2) dt.05-03-2020 2/2 within one month from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Karja P.S.
