The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 304 of 2019 dated 24.11.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 447, 343, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have given an iron rod blow on the head of one Pushpa Devi, who has received simple injuries and which fact would appear from the relevant entry in the case diary.

Considering the afore-noted facts and taking into account that there is a counter version of the occurrence also lodged by one co-accused viz. Rajeev

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23998 of 2021(3) dt.18-02-2022 2/2 Ranjan vide Complaint Case No. 4104 of 2019 which gave rise to Ekma P.S. Case No. 32 of 2020, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is, hereby, confirmed.

The petitioner shall remain on the same bail bonds.

While saying so, this Court has also taken note of the fact that there is a Partition Suit in the family which is pending adjudication.
