Petitioner who is a stenographer apprehends his arrest in a case instituted under Sections 420, 409, 120(B), 34 of Indian Penal Code.
The informant, Uma Shankar Yadav, Procter J.P. University, earlier lodged Vigilance P.S. Case No. 10 of 2015 against the Registrar and the Vice Chancellor alleging malpractice by them.
Petitioner submits that he is not an accused in the vigilance case. In the instant case, he has been made accused on the ground that he has done away with some documents in order to help other accused persons.
I find that the Registrar and Vice Chancellor have
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11465 of 2016 (2) dt.28-03-2016 2/2 already been granted anticipatory bail in the vigilance case vide order dated 28.05.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24474 of 2015. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, in case of arrest/surrender, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 346 of 2015, with the condition that he would cooperate in the trial and would not physically absent for two consequential dates at a stretch in the case till charge is framed.
