JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 30-03-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 24.12.2017, seeks bail in Gopalpur PS Case No. 168 of 2017 registered under Sections 363 and 366A/34 of the IPC.
It is submitted that it is a case of elopement, the girl is major as per medical report, she voluntarily went with the petitioner and also solemnised marriage.
Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Jyoti Shankar Pal is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Gopalpur PS Case No. 168 of 2017.
