Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner was driver of the vehicle which was carrying goods of the informant. Allegation is that on the way, the petitioner in collusion with other accused persons sold away the goods.
Submission is that, in fact, the goods were looted away and the petitioner was found at the place of occurrence in roped condition and the vehicle was also lying abandoned thereat. Petitioner is in custody since 14.10.2017 and has got no criminal antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7293 of 2018 (2) dt.07-02-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Lalganj Police Station Case No. 253 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
