The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 20 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that three persons intercepted and looted him but the police apprehended one person namely Mumtaz, other accused persons were fleeing away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of co-accused Mumtaz.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that Mumtaz was apprehended immediately after the occurrence while he along with other accused persons were fleeing away and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3148 of 2015 (2) dt.22-01-2015 Mumtaz disclosed the name of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
