KUMAR ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act.
It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that he was apprehended by police while he was fleeing away and on search arms and ammunitions were recovered. It is further submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. No recovery was made from the possession of the petitioner. Not a single independent witness has supported the prosecution case. Petitioner is in jail custody since 31.12.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like
