ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-05-2016 Supplementary-Affidavit filed today on behalf of the Petitioner stating therein that he has now deposited the entire amount in favour of the Opposite Party No. 2 be kept on record.

The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 30.11.2015 passed by the 4th Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nawada in Criminal Appeal No. 57 of 2013, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 28.10.2013 passed by the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in G.R. No. 765 of 1999 (Tr. No. 636 of 2013), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 498A IPC and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for two years with a fine of Rs. 2,000/-.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.287 of 2016 dt.03-05-2016 Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any merit in the application.

However, considering the period of custody, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner. The fine shall also stand waived. With the aforesaid observations, the application stands dismissed.
