Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 79 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in this case on basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. The alleged recovery is from the coaccused Pappu Kumar. Petitioner is a man of clean antecedent.
