2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 614 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 387, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with other co-accused sold the land of the wife of the informant by executing sale-deed in favour of the co-accused Brijesh Kumar. It is further alleged that the they have also assaulted the informant and snatched Rs. 25,000/- and threatened to kill.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the prosecution are relatives and there is land dispute between them.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. I have considered the submissions of the parties.

7. No document of any substantive land dispute has been filed by the petitioner. If a person sells the land belonging to a lady, he cannot take advantage of his being agnate of the other side.

8. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.
