The petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased, seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 987 of 2019, arising out of Dhanarua P.S. Case No. 341 of 2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

His prayer for bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 14.08.2020. The current report indicates that the case is pending for framing of charge. The learned counsel for the petitioner however, has pointed out that now charges have already been framed.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24071 of 2021(4) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, taking into account the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 22.02.2019, it is directed that the trial court shall take all steps to conclude the trial positively within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which it would be open for the petitioner to approach the court below and seek bail.
