The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 618 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the petitioner having been apprehended by the police and a stolen motorcycle is said to have been recovered from the petitioner herein. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and after the present case was instituted, the petitioner has been made an accused in one another case. It is further submitted that considering the offence as alleged, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14882 of 2019(2) dt.11-03-2019 2/2 petitioner is ready to deposit cash security. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 09.10.2018.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioner on regular bail subject to deposit of Rs. 15000/- as cash security with the concerned court and subject to such other conditions as may be imposed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Town P.S. Case NO. 618 of 2018.
It is needless to state that the aforesaid deposit of Rs. 15000/- shall be subject to the final outcome of the present case.
With the aforesaid directions, the present bail petition stands disposed of.
