Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

About 50 liters of liquor was recovered from possession of both the petitioners. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 12.01.2020. There is no material to substantiate that petitioners are going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14747 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sursand P.S.Case No.22 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
